Curious About Sound Healing

**WORKSHOP ALERT** Have you been feeling called to sound healing/sound therapy, but not sure you want to take the leap? Are you wanting to buy sound healing instruments but not sure where to start or which instruments you'll enjoy playing? Do you want to learn about what options there are to practice sound therapy professionally, whether full time or part time? Do you have any existing wellness practice (massage, Reiki, Yoga, etc..) and want to learn what options there are to incorporate sound healing in your existing practice? If so, this workshop is for you! 

In this 2-hour hands-on exploratory workshop hosted at SpoonMoon Uptown in Fayetteville, Licensed Sound Therapist Allison Soeung will cover:

• What is sound therapy? 
• Types of sound therapy instruments/tools available - with space to PRACTICE using each one!
• Overview of types/scopes of sound therapy practices: Group sound bath/sound meditation, 1-on-1 sound therapy work, pairing with other wellness modalities
• What would a career look like in sound therapy?
• What training paths are there to get certified if you'd like to move forward? 

This workshop will include plenty of hands-on practice with various types of sound healing instruments from crystal singing bowls to tunings forks to himalayan singing bowls. Size will be limited to 10 people to provide for plenty of Q&A and hands-on instrument practice time per person.

What to bring: Yourself, a notebook for taking notes, and a folding camp chair if you do not wish to sit on the floor!

Cost: $40 for the 2-hr workshop.

**Note: This is not a sound therapy certification, but a basic introduction for those who might want to invest in further training/certification but want some clarity on the right path!
